Latest Guide Dog for the Blind Success

Catherine C. Lichtenberger, Executive Director, and Philip L. Lichtenberger, CEO, donate their time as puppy raisers for Guide Dogs of America.   "Guide Dogs of America provides guide dogs and instruction in their use, free of charge to blind and visually impaired men and women from the United States and Canada."

They are currently raising Nitro, a yellow Labrador Retriever and Golden Retreiver cross.  Search Facebook for @NitroAdventures to find his Facebook page and learn more about his progress as a guide dog puppy in training. 

The Lichtenbergers were puppy raisers for Joncee, a yellow Labrador retriever.  She graduated as a working guide on August 1, 2010.

Congratulations Dr. Cathy Lichtenberger!

 

Dr. Lichtenberger earned her EdD in Education with an emphasis in special education and a minor in applied behavior analysis from Nova Southeastern University.

Invited Speakers for Keynote Address

 

Dr. Cathy Lichtenberger and Phil Lichtenberger gave invited keynote addresses at the 2016 International Symposium on the Fusion of Science and Technology (ISFT) in New Delhi, India.

CalABA Symposium on Innovations in Staff and Parent Training

 

Dr. Cathy Lichtenberger participated in a symposium on innovations in staff and parent training at CalABA in February 2016.  Dr. Lichtenberger presented her recent research on training of direct care staff to implement QABF interviews with fidelity.

Congratulations Dr. Brandon Guin!

 

Dr. Guin has earmed his PhD in Clinical Psychology with a Concentration in Somatic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology – Los Angeles.  He also has an MA in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University.  He is currently working toward his BCBA certification.

Philip Lichtenberger, BCBA

 

Philip Lichtenberger earned his Masters in Teaching (MAT) in July of 2013 and his BCBA credentials in June of 2014.

Adjunct Faculty at National University

Catherine C. Lichtenberger was made an adjunct faculty member at National University through the school of Education and Psychology in 2009.  She has taught Behavior Assessment, Research Design, and Analysis; Basic Behavior Analytic Processes; and Behavior Analytic Applications - II.  These are the first three classes in a series of five graduate classes in applied behavior analysis that meet the education requirement for students to take the BCBA and BCaBA examinations.
